Thanks to all those folks out there sending in submissions, keep them coming. In other news I've added a blog which you can access here. I must warn you that most of it's not Unreal related, so avoid if you're one who gets bored easily.

I've played Nick in person on Meitak a couple of times now, and it doesn't get any better than that. Watching an author float around his map like he's on steroids is a sight to be witnessed, and rather forgotten about as the scores were in his favor.
Meitak is a rather small 1vs1 map with attitude. It packs a tight theme, great weapon placement and some rather interesting lift-jump opportunities. On the weapon placement, it's interesting to note that all the big guys (Rocket Launcher, and Flak Cannon) were placed on the lowest floor which basically means you have to take the risk of going down and grabbing them. Powerups are situated rather close together, sound-triggers have also been utilised in this regard. If you're looking to run a 1vs1 DM Ladder make sure you give Meitak a look, you won't be disappointed.
*Note* DM-CBP2-Meitak is part of the recently released Community Bonus Pack 2 - Volume 2. |

Move over Deck16, no offence Teddie but this map is bloody amazing. I know you're sick of Deck remakes, as am I, but this is truly worthy! Hourences should also be rather proud as this map utilises the Rankin theme almost flawlessly, I don't like the tree smeshes however. What's also interesting about this remake is that adds a couple of twists in the layout, which is welcomed although I personally would have skipped using teleporters because as we all know these little buggers break up the flow. If you're a Deck fan like myself, or simply looking for a grade A map then look no further. I'm looking forward to seeing your next map, Moonflyer, why not surprise us and bring forward an original piece! ;) |

I got at least 60fps when runing the map with my mx440,512m ddr,1.5G cpu, not worse than most official maps

Soma's Goose2k4 is by far the best TDM map out there at present. It's theme is nothing short of Quake3, but don't get me wrong as that's not a bad thing. There's plenty of space to move around in, great conectivity and the theme is consistent throughout which helps. Soma is an expert in gameplay, and this map proves that point. |
